I Was Attacked At Abossey Okai After NDC Lost The 2016 Elections — 'Onaapo' Singer Dee Aja


The public face of the most famous political song in recent memory ‘Onaapo’, Dee Aja, has revealed that singing for a party which eventually lost the elections did not come without consequences for him.
According to Dee Aja, he was assaulted numerous times after the NPP won the elections and NDC was kicked out of power.
Speaking on Zylofon Fm Tuesday, Aja said after the elections, some people took it upon themselves to make his life miserable.
He said a few days after the elections, he was chased out of his house by some young guys for no apparent reason.
He also said that sometime later, he was verbally abused at Abossey Okai for being an NDC tool.
Born David Aja, Dee became a sensation in 2016 after appearing in the music video for the viral campaign song ‘Onaapo’.
