The management of ‘Abrantie’ Amakye Dede has settled a complaint with the Musicians Union of Ghana for Ghc 5,000.
Amakye Dede had earlier threatened to sue the body over an auction of his musical compilation for which he received no compensation.
In a series of communications with the body, Amakye Dede warned them that he should receive the money from the sale or he would take them to court.

They initially demanded Ghc 10,000 but according to reports, the one who bought the CD actually paid Ghc 5,000 thus they settled for that amount.
Amakye Dede’s manager Akwasi Aboagye has confirmed that they have settled the issue with MUSIGA now and they can all move on.
