Manchester United has been adjudged the most profitable club in the world for the second year in a row, once again beating out Real Madrid to the title.
United’s generated revenues of €676.3m in season 2016/2017 was enough to top all other clubs.
Spanish giants and defending European champions Real Mardid finished second on the list, followed by their eternal rivals FC Barcelona.
Deloitte, the celebrated financial firm, releases the rankings every year. It is based on which team is able to generate more revenue than their competitor during a given football season.
