The years 2018 is really going to be a good year–Stonebwoy’s album ‘Epistle of Mama’ has been rated as the second best album in the world beating Damian Marley’s ‘Stone Hill’ album.
The ‘Epistles of Mama’ was ranked second by readers of Reggaeville–world’s biggest platform for fans and lovers reggae on the internet.
Stonebwoy’s ‘Epistles of Mama’ place second on the list just after Chronixx’s ‘Chronology’.
The ‘Epistle of Mama’ which was released on December 12, 2017, featured local and international acts such as, Sean Paul, Burna Boy, Sarkodie, Efya, King Promise, Edem and Joey B.

The album contains 24 songs–12 Dancehall/Reggae songs and 12 Afrobeat songs.
“It’s inspired by the good morals, the teachings, the lessons, the anguish and the smiles of life. All the important things in life which are passed on to us by our mothers,” Stonebwoy said in an interview with Red Bull.

‘Epistles of Mama’ as the name suggests was dedicated to the mother of Stonebwoy, Catherine Satekla, who died in 2015.
