Zigi is currently crying that Ebony’s management wanted to charge him Ghc 7,000 for a collaboration but for musicians and what they charge per show Ghc 7,000 is peanuts but Zigi was not ready to spend that money to get a greater return.
Now it has turned out he was probably lying but the point remains that doing something requires making investments, not just hard work but monetary as well.
Sarkodie has sounded a note of caution to young up and coming stars in Ghana and he makes the same point.
The ‘Gboza’ hitmaker said there were numerous talents around but there was a lack of opportunity for them to take advantage of.

Writing on facebook, he advised them to be ready to invest money into their careers if they want to be successful, warning they will fail if they try to ‘cheat the game’.
He wrote:
“Great Talents here in Ghana and just wish y’all could get the support and platforms needed to show that incredible God given Gifts to the world… I promise to do the little I can to help
“Till then …a little advice to the young ones : Make sure you put back every penny into your craft … if it will take you 8 shows to pay for one video, do so!!! Don’t cheat the game or you will fail “.
