A trio of suspects were picked up by police in Odorkor Monday allegedly plotting a deadly attack in Ghana.
According to reports, one of the three has ties to the Islamic State (IS) terror group in Libya.
The three suspects were picked up at Agape in Accra following a joint police and military intelligence operation. They were found with a stash of grenades and ammunition.
The three have been identified as Abdul Karim, Osman Alhassan and Ishmael Ali Musa. Musa allegedly has ties to IS in Libya, where the trio procured their weapons.
They are also alleged to have sold some of the weapons already and the police are working to trace the sales and retrieve them.
