Man United Legend Ryan Giggs Is The New Manager Of Wales

Welsh football legend Ryan Giggs has been appointed by his own country as its new manager in a shock appointment.
Giggs, 44, takes over from Chris Coleman, who left the position in November to take charge of English Premier League side Sunderland.
Coleman failed to qualify the country to the 2018 World Cup in Russia, and Giggs preliminary task would be qualification to the 2020 European Championships.
Giggs had a long and legendary career for English Premier League side Manchester United, playing a crucial role on the left wing in the dynasty built by Scottish manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
“I am so proud to have been given the honour of managing the national team.” Giggs said after his appointment was confirmed.
“The challenges that we have ahead of us with the Nations League and qualification for Uefa Euro 2020 excite me a great deal. I can’t wait to start working with the players as we prepare for those crucial games later in the year.”
Giggs has signed a four year contract.
