GBC announced that nobody would be prosecuted for not paying their tv licence fee on Wednesday, leading Ghanaians to heave a huge sigh of relief that the crazy levy had been dropped.
Whilst some are merely relieved, Afia Schwarzenegger is mocking the national broadcaster over the embarrassing turn of events.
Taking to Instagram, the comedian posted a short skit showing a goat being led to slaughter, which she christened the tv licence fee.
The governing board of GBC on Wednesday, January 10th, held a meeting during which it was decided that the idea of prosecuting Ghanaiaans for not paying their tv licence fee would be scrapped.
That comes after strong opposition from both ordinary Ghanaians and prominent public figures including A Plus, Abronye DC and Afia.
