President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has named infamous ‘citizen vigilante’ Martin Amidu as the Special Prosecutor.
At a press conference held at the flagstaff house, President Akufo-Addo revealed Mr Amidu as his nominee for the office he created after winning power.
Astonishingly, Martin Amidu is an NDC member, a former Attorney General under President John Atta Mills. He has however, become a fierce critic of his own party in recent years.
