The wife of the Lebanese businessman currently standing trial for allegedly raping a teenage Ghanaian househelp burst into tears and in court today (Monday) after her husband was remanded in custody.
Rabih Haddad’s wife could not fathom why her husband’s bail application was not heard by the court for him to come back home to her.
According to Citifmonline, she broke down in tears when the judge postponed the bail hearing because the prosecuting States Attorney was not around due to sickness.
She demanded to know whether the case would be heard tomorrow (Tuesday).
Rabih Haddad is currently standing trial for allegedly raping a teenage househelp who was working for him multiple times.
He’s currently being held at the Police Hospital in Accra where he is on admission under police guard.
The case will resume on Tuesday.
