A lot of Ghanaians are mentally sick but covered up in decent clothing, how can you slash a fellow human being’s throat all because she served you rice with a piece of meat on Christmas day?
Raymond Boabey, a construction worker at Lipke Mate, a suburb of Hohoe in the Volta Region has slashed his girlfriend, Theodora Ansah’s throat with the reason that she served him rice with a piece of meat on Christmas day.

Theodora Ansah, a hairdresser and mother of two got involved in a fight with her boyfriend whom she is cohabiting with over serving him with rice and a piece of meat around 7 pm on Christmas day.
Theodora who had no money to cook a spicy meal for her boyfriend on Christmas managed to prepare rice and stew with meat, Raymond who was not happy furiously confronted and slapped her, throwing her out of his house in the process.

Raymond, not being able to stay alone after 3 days, went back to apologize of which she accepted and obliged to move in again with her daughter from another man.
The man in the process of convincing Theodora for them to come back together to plan their marriage got infuriated and started beating her again but she managed to escape leaving her daughter behind.

Theodora who could not go far because of her daughter made Raymond come back from behind with a cutlass and slashed her neck and her left hand.
Theodora is currently on admission at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
