The year 2017 is ending and so far it has been good for some Ghanaian artistes as they appear on almost all the big shows both in and outside Ghana.
Now dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy has been billed to perform in Sierra Leone on December 30.
Stonebwoy as part of plans for collaboration album concert by dancehall act Star Zee, will perform at the Siaka Stevens Stadium on Friday, December 30, 2017.
A brief history of Dancehall artiste, Star Zee–She was born and raised in Freetown to Mr Patrick Samai, an ex-vocalist in the Military Dance band.
Star Zee was introduced to the music industry at a tender age of 14 and she came into the limelight when her group released “Focus On Africa” album.
Much is not known about their split but she went solo in 2003.
Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy recently released his “Epistles of Mama” album which has gained much recognition in the media.
The much talked about album which is made up of 24 songs featured both international and local artistes like Sean Paul, Burna Boy, Sarkodie, Efya, King Promise, Edem and Joey B. The 24 songs come in two folds, 12 Dancehall/Reggae songs and 12 Afrobeat songs.

“It’s inspired by the good morals, the teachings, the lessons, the anguish and the smiles of life. All the important things in life which are passed on to us by our mothers.” explains Stonebwoy to Red Bull.
The ‘Epistles of Mama’ album is dedicated to Stonebwoy’s mother–Catherine Satekla who died in 2015.
