Afia Pokuaa (Vim Lady) 'Rains Fire' On Vice President Bawumia For Failing To 'Arrest' The Dollar As He Promised

Published by

One of the numerous promises by the National Patriotic Party (NPP) was to ‘arrest’ the fast running rate of the Dollar against the Ghana Cedi.
It is one year since the NPP gained political power and the rate of the US-Dollar against the Ghana Cedi as it stands now, $1.00 equivalents Ghc4.5275 which is still the same when they were in opposition.

Apparently, nothing has been done by the NPP as they promised in opposition and this has ignited outspoken journalist, Afia Pokuaa aka Vim Lady to rain ‘fire’ on Vice President Dr Bawumia.
Afia Pokuaa on Joy FM’s morning show–Joy SMS fumed, “We are in a country where @MBawumia held several presentations and still, the dollar is where it is. If the president doesn’t have any intention of reshuffling, we will create that intention for him”.

Afia Pokuaa who thinks the president should reshuffle some of his appointees added, “My excitement is that I heard the president will be having some reshuffling in the first week of January. I think Hawa Koomson should go. Even all the ministers should be dissolved”.
The NPP government have been in power for a year and already they have been labelled as corrupt by the opposition political parties as well as some disappointed Ghanaians.

Some Ghanaians are of the view that, the NPP is just repeating the same mistakes that sent the NDC into opposition and if things are not streamlined, they will show them the exit come what may!
