Female dancehall artiste, Ebony has come under heavy criticisms for her offensive style of dressing as well as her indecent exposure during her stage performance but critically evaluating her relevance in 2017, the artiste really worked hard, from releasing an album to dropping of hit singles.
Entertainment analysts have touted her to be the best artiste to be crowned 2018 VGMA Artiste of the year. Ebony attended a lot of shows and made the headlines in any of her stage performances.

Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng, as called in real life is undoubtedly a versatile musician with great energy which could be experienced whenever she mounted the stage to perform. Fans were always eager to experience her performance any time she was billed to perform at an event.
Obviously, Ebony meets all the requirements an artiste needs to win the topmost award of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards–Artiste of the year. An artiste is supposed to meet these requirements before she or he can lift that accolade; the artiste must have released a hit single or album during the particular year under review.

Ebony has indicated that she deserves the 2018 artiste of the year crown because she has worked hard and wouldn’t be fair if it’s been taken away from her. She disclosed this during an interview Doreen Avio on Joy FM last week, December 8, 2017.
Ebony, having released hit songs expressed optimism that she was going to lift the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards artiste of the year accolade come what may!
