Shatta Wale’s beefing with Nigerian artistes, Wizkid, Timaya and Patoranking has invited a serious threat of kidnap from a South-African dancehall artiste called “The Original dancehall General”.
A youtube video intercepted by Ghanacelebrities.com showed the South African dancehall artiste and his crew furiously ranting about the beef between Ghana’s Shatta Wale and Wizkid from Nigeria.
“The Original Dancehall General” as called stated in the video that he did not understand why Shatta Wale would blindly and hypocritically refuse to acknowledge Wizkid as a superstar. He went on to threaten that he was going to kidnap Shatta Wale and he would do that with the help of some AK-47 guns.
He again sounded a strong warning to Shatta Wale not to step a foot in South-Africa else he would teach him a lesson of his life and ask Shatta Wale to ask about his record when it comes to some of these things.
He stated that he is not a coward to be firing bullets in the air just to scare people off as Shatta Wale did some days ago but would rather fire bullets at Shatta Wale should he get hold of him.
From the video, all his crew members angrily issued threats upon threats to Shatta Wale should he dare step a foot in South Africa.
The beef between Shatta Wale and Wizkid emerged after he said in a Facebook live stream that he, Shatta Wale doesn’t see and recognise Wizkid as a superstar.
Shatta Wale’s stance on Wizkid not being a superstar to him caused a lot of rants and heated arguments between fans of Wizkid and members of the Shatta Movement on various social media platforms.
Even though Wizkid wasn’t in Ghana but Shatta Wale was captured in a video firing gunshots in the air with the aim of scaring and sending warnings to the Nigerian artistes he was beefing.
Below is the video of the kidnap threats.
