The NDC are trying as hard as they can to make political hay whilst the sun shines, using the President’s comments on homos*xuality as a basis.
It’s easy to see majority of Ghanaians are against any notion of gay rights, hence the NDC’s conscious decision to not let the comments go.
General Secretary of the party, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has once again attacked the President for his comments to Al Jazeera about the potential legalization of homos*xuality in Ghana.
According to General Mosquito, the President’s comments has opened the way for gays in Ghana to demand legalization.
“I think Nana Addo is ever ready to legalize homosexuality. Per his response, he has actually opened doors for gays to demonstrate for the decriminalization of the act. It’s just unfortunate for a whole President to give such response” he said on Accra based Okay fm.
“Late President Mills was quick to give his stance as well as other former Presidents so it will be appropriate for him (Nana Addo) to also come out clear on the issue” he said.
Mosquito reiterated that the NDC would never legalize the practice.
