Social media has really brought a lot of unimaginable cases of jealousy especially among couples to the extent that it goes a long way to bring about separation or even abuse. People are so much obsessed with social media likes and comments which indicates that their entire life is been validated by Facebook.
This is not different from this jealous husband and wife. It is kind of funny but a serious issue–beating your wife for every like she gets on Facebook isn’t so cool at all.

Adolfina Camelli Ortigoza, 21 years has undergone a reconstruction surgery on her face after her jealous husband punched her for every ‘like’ she got on facebook.
Her husband, Pedro Heriberto Galeano, according to police report subjected her to severe beatings which have completely disfigured her face.
According to Adolfina’s lawyer, Pedro, 32, would get furious and violent when anyone liked or reacted to her photos she posted on Facebook. He then began to beat her up for every single like she gets on the photos.
Sadly, Galeano got control of her Facebook account, posted some photos of her and continued punching her for every reaction on the photos.
Her friends had no idea of what was happening to her and kept reacting to her photos. “He accused her of having a sexual relationship with them”, the lawyer added.
The man’s father seeing how violent his son had become had no option than to report him to the police. Adolfina could not even identify her own photos when they were shown to her after the beatings due to the massive violence mounted on her by her husband.
Galeano has been captured, charged with femicide, deprivation of liberty and coercion, crimes which can land him a 30-year jail term.
