President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo belatedly wished Shatta Wale a happy birthday on twitter a few weeks ago, even extending him an invite to come to the flagstaff house.
So when the birthday of his political rival and the man he succeeded came up on Wednesday, all eyes were on the President to see if he would wish him as well.
He didn’t.
Mahama turned 59 on November 29 and the well wishes came in from all angles, but not from Nana Akufo-Addo.

This has left people wondering if it was an intentional snub or simply forgetfulness.
