Whoever thought the saga surrounding the alleged V8 Toyota land cruiser stolen by John Dumelo had gone to sleep is just dreaming, the whole saga has been revisited again but this time in a funny way by Former British High Commissioner to Ghana, Jon Benjamin.
The High Commissioner took his twitter handle to troll the Ghanaian actor over the allegedly stolen V8 cross-country vehicle belonging to the state.
John Dumelo on his usual travel adventures tweeted earlier that, “I woke up at the dead sea, had lunch in Turkey and now landing in London. What a day”!
But Jon Benjamin, noted for his eristic tweets, quickly responded in a tweet saying, “In London? If I see a freshly repainted V8 with its own private siren heading down The Embankment, I’ll give you a wave. Enjoy our city”
Few hours after Jon Benjamin’s tweet, the actor in response said…
“yep…..that’s me. I’m picking the Queen up for tea”
In March this year, a V8 vehicle belonging to the state was retrieved from a spraying shop and John Dumelo’s name popped up that he was responsible for the re-spraying and changing the identification of the vehicle into his name. Even though it was alleged but there seemed to be some iota of truth in the whole saga.
The vehicle was then seized by the members of the task force within the ruling party–NPP.
John Dumelo, as usual, took to social media to debunk the report claiming the two V8 Toyota Land Cruisers were sold to him and that it wasn’t a state property. Below is a screenshot of their tweets.
