Akufo-Addo Would Get Less Than 10% In 2020 If He Campaigns On Legalizing Homos*xuality — Maurice Ampaw

Lawyer Maurice Ampaw has dared the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, to make legalizing homos*xuality his campaign message in 2020.
According to the lawyer, any such attempt by Akufo-Addo would see him lose the elections miserably as Ghanaians would soundly reject him and he would get less than 10% of the vote.
Ampaw even promised that if Akufo-Addo can do that and get more than 10%, he (Ampaw) would turn gay.
The President has sparked a furore back home after comments he made in a recent interview with Al Jazeera.
Nana Akufo-Addo, when asked about the issue of homos*xuality in Ghana, did not outrightly condemn it as many hoped, instead daring to say it might eventually get legalized in Ghana.
Ampaw is one of those who has come out extra strongly against the President’s comments.
“If the president thinks he is brave enough and support homosexuality, he should go ahead and use it as his political campaign message come 2020 general elections. He should promise he is going to make it legal and see”. He said on Kumasi radio station Sika Fm.
“Tell him, if he gets event 10% of the total votes in that election, I Maurice Ampaw will turn a gay. I dare him”. he added.
Despite the President’s comments, information Minister Mustapha Hamid has made it clear that the NPP government has no intention of legalizing homos*xuality.
