The newly merged AirtelTigo, formed out of the merger of the former two separate networks, have reportedly instructed staff members to reapply for their jobs.
The merger has necessitated a trimming of the size of the company and thus staff of both have been asked to reapply for management to make appointments for the vacated roles.
According to Starrfmonline, the workers who do not make the cut following the reapplication process would receive a severance package consisting of their three months salary multiplied by the number of years they have worked with the company.
As we’ve reported, these two companies have been discussing a merger for a while and it was completed this week with the unveiling of the new name AirtelTigo.
