KKD Deletes Post Expressing Support For Gay Son

KKD, daughter and son

Celebrated Ghanaian broadcaster Kwesi Kyei Darkwa (KKD) has reportedly deleted the long emotional post he made last week expressing support for his son who came out as gay.
KKD’s lengthy post on social media said he would love his son no matter what and that despite his cultural and religious leanings he supports him.
However, following immense pressure he seems to have taken down the post.
Daily Guide reports that “after the post went viral, it could not be found on KKD’s Facebook page, where most online reports sourced for their stories. It was also not on his Instagram page as of Sunday.”
“It is readily not clear why the alleged post has been taken off.”
Perhaps KKD’s bold stance could not withstand the backlash from the Ghanaian public and probably some ‘undergee’ pressure from big men in Ghanaians society.
