Wife of Late Major Mahama has granted her first interview ever since losing her husband to a gruesome mob injustice at Denkyira Obuasi.
According to Barbara Mahama who was speaking on GhOne TV, she still struggles to deal with the thoughts that Major Mahama is not more as she keeps hearing his voice.
The widow yesterday celebrated her husband’s 32nd birthday by making a heavy breakfast for him as they would have done if he was alive. She later gave the meal out to a family that lives on the streets of Accra and revealed that she did so upon the voice of her Late Husband.

Speaking to Nana Aba Anamoah she narrated that one of her sons still mentions “Daddy Daddy” when he’s crying and that makes her cry too.
“When you are with someone you think you’ll be with the person forever and then one day you wake up and the person is not there. It just teaches how life is … It’s still difficult, I don’t think it will ease soon but we are managing” she said.
