It’s this kind of sanctimonious posturing that’s so annoying about religious people, holding themselves out as this ‘holier than thou’ people yet when the facts are examined, living the same kind of debauched lifestyle they accuse everyone else of.
Nii Soul became a gospel musician and all of a sudden he’s ‘preaching’ against other forms of music as ‘evil’ or of the devil.
A former secular musician, Nii Funny said he decided for the change to gospel because anything that does not explicitly glorify God is evil.
“Anything that does not glorify God or makes your brother or sister love the things of the devil isn’t of God, thus evil.” Nii Funny said. “So it’s even bigger than music. It’s about the things we do as human beings.”
Speaking in a recent interview, the former secular artist said he used to be only about money and fame but has now changed.
“…Being a secular artiste, all we cared about was money and fame. And this selfish behaviour is something I would never want to go back to’’.
This arrogance of some gospel musicians would sound more authentic if we don’t hear equally bad stories about them concerning use of juju, PHD syndrome, bribery and all the other ‘vices’ one would normally associate with secular musicians.
