Former President John Dramani Mahama has taken a swipe against President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo over the increasing problem of vigilantes in the political discourse.
Taking to social media to comment on the issue of Delta Force and other incidents of vigilante violence, the former President said the NPP are only reaping what they sowed.
A recent attack by a vigilante group known as ‘Burma Camp’ happened in Karaga in the Northern Region, bringing up to 19 the number of attacks by NPP leaning vigilante groups since the party took office in January.
“When you sow the wind, you reap a whirlwind!” John Dramani Mahama noted on his official Facebook page.
“Political ‘vigilantism’ is spiralling out of control and government doesn’t appear to be able to deal with the situation. And the tragedy is that most of our moral society have become passive spectators.” he added.
