Bukom Banku finally ‘met his meeter’ over the weekend when he was pummelled by Bastie Samir in their non title cruiserweight bout at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
Samir won the fight via a 7th round Technical Knockout (TKO) after flooring Banku twice.
The brash Banku had promised his fans that Samir would go down in round 6 but it was he rather who ate the canvas after some sweet combination punches from Samir.
Referee Roger Banor stopped the fight after Banku was unable to answer the ten count, handing the James Town native the first loss of his career.
