A group calling itself the ‘Kumasi Youth Association’ has attacked the offices of the Daily Guide newspaper in the region, claiming the paper has tarnished the image of the Asantehene.
Their actions following the Daily Guide reporting the story about the alleged money laundering case in the UK involving the Asantehene and a fired bank official.
The story was reported by UK’s The Telegraph and later re-reported by Ghanaian outlets, but for some reason the youth have decided Daily Guide is at fault and has locked it’s Kumasi offices.
