President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed Ghana’s first ever Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates.
The position has been bestowed on Alhaji Ahmed Ramadan, former National Chairman of the People’s National Convention (PNC).
Alhaji Ramadan was sworn in to his position by the President and charged with faithfully executing the duties of his office.
The veteran politician is the father of the second lady, Samira Bawumia and deputy NADMO boss Abu Ramadan. He would serve as Ghana’s first ever representative to the Gulf nation.
