Following the weekend’s Gas Explosion in Accra, the manager of MANSCO Gas Limited-George Owusu, the station that exploded at Atomic Junction in Madina has said he has lost millions of dollars in the disaster.
He told journalists that, “We are now going to do the estimate to know [the extent of the lost], but I can say we have lost thousands of dollars or millions of dollars.”
7 people have so far been confirmed dead and another 132 injured in the Saturday night explosion, according to an official statement released by the government.
Of the surviving number, 64 have been treated of their injuries and discharged, whilst a further 68 are still receiving care. Of that number, two are in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at 37, the statement which was released on Sunday said.
