These days it has become fashionable to diss the local movie industry, Kumawood, even though Ghallywood is probably faring worse than it.
Both local industries are indeed struggling, with these twi soaps stealing all the market from them.
However, Chris Attoh, whom many might consider an ‘elite’ actor, has expressed complete support for Kumawood. According to him, there is so much creativity abounding in Kumawood and he would not mind acting there if the script was right for him.
Attoh was speaking on Starr Chat with Bola Ray – the same platform he hit out at ex-wife Damilola on – when he commended what Kumawood is doing.
“Kumawood is a very creative world of filmmakers who made the possible out of the impossible. I love it and it has a huge following, and we should keep going,” Attoh gushed.
“I will be willing to star in Kumawood movies any day if the storyline is good”. he added.
