Patapaa has been attacked tremendously over the past 24 hours all over the media, especially by KKD, who described the ‘One Corner’ dance as madness, foolishness and a whole host of other insulting terms.
However, artist manager Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, aka Bulldog, has jumped to the defence of the young artist and his viral dance.
Speaking on KKD’s tirade, Bulldog said the avid fashionista is wrong and Patapaa’s rise is actually an inspirational one which should be studied to help bring other young stars to prominence.
“KKD knows entertainment and he should know that some of these things will come…I don’t think it is the song per say [he’s criticizing]. It is the dance that comes with the song. Whether we cry or shout, it is the biggest song in Ghana now.”” Bulldog responded on Daybreak Hitz.
He continued: “It’s a calculated attempt. The guy knew this song would not just go [so they had to come up with something]. This is a case study… It is divine. KKD who knows entertainment in and out should ask how we can maximize this. This is what the white man is capitalizing on but we are quick to condemn,”
It is truly sickening, to us at least, how a young man’s struggle to rise is being targeted by critics from all angles. Nobody ever called the ‘follow the ladder’ craze ‘dangerous’.
