Tanzanian star Diamond Platnumz has finally admitted to being the father of the child of video vixen Hamisa Mobetto, after denying it for a long time.
In a newly released interview Platnumz admitted to the affair, which led to a pregnancy, and said his current partner Zari knows about it and has already forgiven him.
Platnumz and Mobetto allegedly struck up a relationship whilst shooting the video for his hit song ‘Salome’, which later led to a pregnancy.

Platnumz has always denied being the father, but now says that was to protect Zari from public ridicule and that he has always looked after the child.
“I did everything that a man is supposed to do, including giving her (Mobetto) upkeep money and a Rav 4,” he said on Tanzanian radio.
“These things happen in life but the most important thing is how you deal with it as a man. There is no need of creating a war where there is none. Later on in life, the children will grow up together and they will be happy as a family.” he added.
Platnumz is currently with Zarinah Hassan, with whom he has a child.
