God promised in the Bible to take care of his children and according to gospel singer Nii Okai, that’s exactly what he has seen since quitting his job to become a gospel singer.
The ‘Moko B3’ hitmaker quit a job at a bank to become a gospel singer at a time when he had nothing in his account but God has taken care of him through it all and according to him, ‘I never went hungry’.
Nii Okai told Lexis Bill on Joy Fm that after quitting his job, he took all his money to pay off a debt and then ventured into music nearly penniless.
“I remember paying off a loan and seeing my account go ‘red’ for the first time. I felt like paying that loan off and starting from ‘ground zero’.” he said.
“Since then, I have seen the goodness of the Lord month after month. I never went hungry because I knew the Lord will never forsake me,” the gospel singer added.
