The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service has concluded their investigations into corruption allegations made against the two Deputy Chiefs of Staff at the Presidency and found them baseless and without merit.
Rapper A Plus made the allegations against the duo, Abu Jinapor and Francis Asenso-Boakye, but the CID says their investigations into the allegations found no basis for them.
The reports of the investigation said that “the allegation of corruption was found to be baseless, unsubstantiated and without credibility.”
A Plus was invited by the CID to present what evidence of corruption he had and despite sounding triumphant after his appearance, the police did not find anything, per their investigation.
The investigation therefore exonerates the duo of any allegation of corruption levelled at them.
