Former Achimota School Prefect, Stephen Kabutey who married his gay partner recently in the U.S has thrown the Nation into discussions of whether Ghanaian laws should decriminalize homosexuality or not.
According to Jessica Opare-Saforo, Christianity has the best way to deal with this issue using the principle of “love” and “judgment” as enshrined in the bible.
Speaking on Celebrity Fanzone she said “This is my thing, I feel Christians have a better way or can find a better way to deal with this. I’m not saying embrace people who are gay but I feel like at the bottom of every religion is love. You may not like the act but it doesn’t mean you should hate the person. I feel that, in order to win people over, you are suppose to set a good example. You are suppose to show them why you think maybe what they are doing is not the best“

She eloquently continued that “I don’t agree with how people are quick to condemn to death individuals who are doing their own thing. The bible talks about Judgement and how it should be done. Judge not is what the bible says but I feel like as soon as issues like this come, people just condemn everyone straight to hell. We are all working our salvation with fear and trembling and truthfully no one is perfect. aye without sin, cast the first stone. That’s really what I have to say“.
