Staunch NDC supporter Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, aka Mzbel, says former President John Dramani Mahama lost a lot of weight after his surprise loss in the 2016 general elections.
According to the singer, whilst Mahama took the loss quite well and accepted it as the choice of the people, it still didn’t prevent him from losing weight, which she observed.
Mzbel was a strong NDC supporter during the elections and campaigned extensively for Mahama. However, the incumbent leader lost massively in the election which swept his party from power in both the Executive and the Legislative branches of government.
“I was very disappointed when NDC lost.” Mzbel told KOD during an appearance on ‘The Zone’.
“President Mahama looked okay although I realized he had lost a lot of weight. He said that was the choice of the people and he was okay with it”. she added.
