Dancehall star Stonebwoy has received a citation for excellence from a New York state senator.
The ‘Mightylele’ hitmaker revealed the news in a post on social media.
Stonebwoy has been in the Big Apple the past few days playing shows including the 50th New York Caribbean Festival.
Jesse Hamilton, senator of the state’s 20th district, presented Stonebwoy with the honour for his incredible contributions to the development of Carribean music and arts in Brooklyn.
