Two more players of the Black Stars have withdrawn from the team to travel to Congo, citing injuries.
Jordan Ayew and Harrison Afful are the latest pair of players set to miss the make or break game.
According to Ghanasoccernet.com, Jordan is skipping the trip due to a stomach upset whilst Afful aggravated a foot injury in the first leg game in Kumasi.
Following a 1-1 draw in that game, the Stars need an emphatic victory in Congo to get their miserable campaign back on track, and even that might not be enough.
And the task keeps getting harder for manager Kwesi Appiah, as these two aren’t the only top stars missing the trip – his captain and vice captain, Asamoah Gyan and Dede Ayew respectively, have also withdrawn from the game citing injury.
