It’s not a stretch to say the wedding day is the happiest day in the lives of most people.
However, for an ecstatic Nigerian couple, that joy turned to sorrow in the space of less than two weeks.
Zainab and Salim Sodangi got married in Abuja on the 19th of August, 2017. On the 29th, Zainab tragically passed away.
It’s not clear what led to her demise but social media has been filled with condolences for the surviving groom.
