Black Stars forward Abdul Majeed Warris is close to sealing a switch to the English Premier League to join the club supported by the former UK ambassador to Ghana Jon Benjamin – West Ham United.
The forward is in London for talks with the Hammers as they search for a suitable replacement for exit bound Diafra Sakho.
Warris plays for Ligue 2 side Lorient, scoring nine goals last season. He has been in and out of the Stars for the past few years.
If signed, Warris would become West Ham’s second Ghanaian forward, partnering with Stars vice skipper Andre Ayew.
