A male student of one of the boys senior high schools in the country has reportedly contracted HIV after he was gang raped by a bunch of seniors.
The student (name witheld), said he turned down an offer from one senior to have anal s*x with him, and after that he was lured into the bush where a bunch of them raped him.
A third year student, he appeared on Joy Fm to narrate his ordeal.
He told Home Affairs host Edem Knight-Tay that it all started after he turned down an offer from a senior for them to have some hot gay s*x.
“I was very harsh to him and I told him off,” he said.
“[However], two weeks after that, after prep, one senior sent me to get him something and somehow I was abducted, taken into a bush and gang raped.”
He said after the incident, he could not walk or sit down. He later discovered during a school health screening that he had been infected with HIV.
He said the seniors also warned him not to report it as they would make life miserable for him if he did. Some colleagues also disclosed going through the same ordeal but told him reporting would be fruitless because even some teachers are involved  in it.
“…I have not been able to tell my parents. I have contemplated suicide and although I am in year three, I feel my life is going nowhere,” the victim lamented.
