Honestly if this is how men of God behave how do they claim to posses any moral authority to tell anyone else how to live their lives?
After Otabil called his critics people who ‘look like insults’, Isaac Owusu Bempah has piled onto those same people, describing them as uncultured, childish and lacking knowledge.
If pastors talk this way how is everyone else expected to talk?
The founder and leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministries appeared on Neat Fm and like Otabil, had little patience for the critics of the ICGC head pastor.
Otabil has received immense criticism from the public following the collapse of Capital Bank, in which his church held shares and whose board he was a member of.
But Owusu Bempah said Otabil is a man of God and not a banker and therefore criticizing him over the failure of a bank is neither here nor there and makes the critics massively ignorant.
“The most important thing is that, Dr Mensa Otabil’s church has not collapsed. That is what God called him to do and not banking. Those insulting him over his business failure lack knowledge, it’s uncultured and childish.” Owusu Bempah said.
“There’s nothing wrong with that and there’s absolutely nothing wrong if he failed in an attempt to run a banking business. Most successful business moguls have all failed before. Otabil isn’t the first person to fail in business. This is not the downfall of Dr. Otabil,” he added.
