Lawyer Maurice Ampaw has described the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, as a coward for reversing the decision for a tow levy.
According to the firebrand lawyer, the President should have stuck with the decision but instead withdrew it in a cowardly manner.
Government recently officially scrapped its plans for the tow levy which had caused so much public backlash.
But Ampaw believes the levy was a good decision and that the President should not have withdrawn it.
“President Akufo-Addo is coward. He just has to scrap this policy because I know there is too much pressure from his party people”, he said.
“When the policy came to light, there were a whole lot of baseless controversies from his party members without having any understanding and knowledge of it. They made every noise and threatened to quit NPP because of ignorance, envy and jealousy” he added.
According to him, the President should have been steadfast and stuck to the decision, which he said would have been good for road safety.
