Ignorance, Jealousy And Envy Motivating Fight Against Tow Levy – Maurice Ampaw

blank
Lawyer Maurice Ampaw has called on Ghanaians to support the tow tax/levy which is being proposed because it’s actually a good law.
According to the loudmouthed legal practitioner, the opposition to the law is only fuelled by envy, jealousy and ignorance on the part of some NPP politicians but it’s actually good for the nation.
The controversial levy was proposed by government to help curb the menace of cars parked on roadsides for long after breaking down, which were contributing heavily to accidents.
However, the format of the tax, which is to be paid by everyone irrespective of whether they used cars or not, was kicked against by the citizenry till plans for the levy were shelved.
But Ampaw has come out in full support of the law, calling it’s opponents ignorant.
“Unnecessary politicization, envy and jealously on the part of some members of the New Patriotic Party NPP) such as Abronye  DC and Franklin Cudjoe  are the reasons some persona are  speaking against the policy”, he claims.
“When the policy came to light, there were a whole lot of baseless controversies from them without having any understanding and knowledge of it. They made every noise and threatened to quit NPP because of ignorance, envy and jealously”, he said.
“According to him, after a careful reflection and taking time to study the contract agreement, it is important everyone supports the law contrary to his earlier position against it.

“For all that they were saying and were unable to trace the leg and tail of it. I found time to go to the National Road Safety Commission to demand better explanation from them”.

“After they furnished me with the necessary documents to study them, I realized the policy is a good one everyone should brace himself/herself for it”, Ampaw added.
