Mzbel says getting married is not a priority for her and even if it ever happens, it’s unlikely it’ll be one of those flashy ceremonies dubbed as ‘white weddings’.
According to the singer, she ‘loathes’ those ceremonies and the rituals attached such as exchange of rings.
Speaking to ZionFelix, Mzbel expressed far from impressed opinions about the one thing almost every girl in Ghana dreams of having from the moment they understand what getting married is.
“Marriage is not my priority… it is not that I am against it but is not part of my immediate plans but if it happens fine.” she said.
“I will not have time for marriage because it is not part of me. Sometimes you can date someone to the extent you both decide to make it official. But I abhor white weddings and exchanges of rings and others” she added.
Mzbel has long enjoyed revealing unpopular opinions in a country where people are not very forgiving if you stray from the official party line. On religion and on marriage, Mzbel is more than a ‘revolutionary’.
