WAEC has revealed a number of people have returned their certificates to them after becoming ‘born again’.
Dozens of people returned their certificates for exams written up to as long as decades ago which they cheated in.
The ‘born again’ returnees confessed their ‘sin’ of cheating to the body and returned the certificates.
This was revealed by WAEC at their recently held National Examination Committee.
The returnees included 29 students who wrote exams in 1984 and 1985,  three for the years 2000, 2004 and 2008, two each in 1992 and 2003 while one certificate each was returned by born again Christians who sat for the examination in 1984, 1985, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006 and 2012.
