Can you imagine that someone is selling the ordinary Ghanaian broom, made out of palm fronds on UK’s eBay for £19.99–plus extra £10 on delivery, making it a total of £29.99?
The seller, by username girlchieffans, is based in the UK and has been selling different stuff on eBay since 2008–with about 150 customer reviews and carries a 100% positive feed back.
She called her broom; “African Handmade Dry Palm Sweeping Broom” and described it as; “Handmade African palm leaf broom. Use to sweep leaves and many more. Length is app. 2ft 7.” Black Rubber banded for strong use.”
On the same website, another seller-mintcat-emem, is selling another broom for £14.99–and has titled is item “Unique Dry Palm Broom, Dry Flower , Fibre Decorative Flower.”
That’s a lot of money for a common broom–a good market for those of you in Ghana who can get these cheaply and sell them costly on eBay.
