Bisa Kdei has revealed that the late Paapa Yankson, who only passed away recently, was actually a huge influence on his career.
Kdei appeared on Starr Drive Tuesday and spoke about the great influences on his career.
The ‘Sister Girl’ hitmaker said he grew up on highlife music and Paapa Yankson in particular really influenced him.
“I grew up with high life music, I grew up listening to the likes of Paapa Yanskon among others.” he said.
He added: “I took inspiration from veteran highlife Musicians. My fans inspire me and old highlife musicians inspire me a lot, though I’m young, it just come to me. I go to the studio, feel the beat and throw myself in”.
