Black Stars goalie Razak Brimah has joined South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns on a three year deal.
Brimah put pen to paper on a new deal with the side after completing a medical, signing on a free transfer.
Brimah last played for the Spanish second division side Cordoba FC, where he was their number one goalie. However, he would have to play second fiddle at his new club to Sundowns’ number one – Uganda’s national team goalie Dennis Onyango.
The 30 year old, known for his spiderman toy, caused a stir at the last Afcon when a video he posted online showed him directing profanities at Ghanaians for not supporting the team and instead criticising them. He later apologised, and was fined by the FA for his actions.
