Ghana Actors Guild Donates Mobile Phone And Cash To Super OD

Veteran Ghanaian comic actor, Asonaba Kwaku Darko popularly called Super OD has received a mobile phone and an undisclosed amount from the Ghana Actors Guild.
The 82-year-old actor has been battling old age ailment at the blind side of many until recently when a Tv3 news team visited him.

The Guild’s President, Samuel Fiscian, Welfare Officer Kalsoume Sinare, Secretary Ziggy Netteyson, Mikki Osei Berko among others were part of the delegation that visited Super OD.

Mr Sam Fiscian speaking to Citi Showbiz said that “I don’t know if he ever was a member but all I know is that currently, he is not a member of the guild. However, we acknowledge his contributions to acting in Ghana so we presented him cash and also a mobile phone so we can stay connected with him,”.
Mr Sam Fiscian added that “Despite the fact that we are financially constrained, we are going on a regional tour to meet our members, encourage new actors to join and donate to the aged and sickly members,”.

MP for Agona East Constituency, Hon Queenstar Pokuah Sawyerr, earlier this month also reached out to the legendary actor and gave him an electronic wheel chair among other items.
